We transformed our daughter, Emma, into a real life fairy from Pixie Hollow 🧚✨ #ad  If you love fairies, romance, and fantasy adventure, then Wings of Starlight is a must read. It’s a magical new book from @disneybooks and our daughter, Emma, read it in a day! 📚  For this photo, we made a giant mushroom out of wood, chicken wire, and spray foam, then Eloise and I painted it. After it was finished, we hauled the mushroom into the snowy forest behind our house. Emma dressed up as a warm-season fairy from Pixie Hollow and sat on the giant mushroom, while Nick light painted glowing wings behind her, and I captured the moment.  This photo was inspired by Emma’s recent read, #WingsofStarlight. It’s a magical new fantasy adventure book, by @allisonhsaft, following Clarion, a warm-season fairy from Pixie Hollow, who crosses into the Winter Woods in spite of the legends of monsters lurking there. What she finds is much different than the stories she had been told, and she forms an unlikely bond with Milori, a guardian of the Winter Woods, while racing to save their lands.
